Escape Road
At its heart, DELTARUNE offers an imaginative and emotional journey. You’ll meet new main characters as well as familiar ones like Toriel and Sans. Each character is fully voiced through expressive pixel animations designed by Temmie, who brings a whole new level of charm to the visual storytelling.
While Papyrus doesn’t make an appearance—he’s “busy,” apparently—the rest of the ensemble more than makes up for it with heartfelt interactions and laugh-out-loud moments.

The narrative in DELTARUNE is written entirely by Toby Fox, which means you can expect the same depth, surprise, and emotional beats found in UNDERTALE. The game unfolds over a chapter-based format, allowing players to jump in at any point without losing track of the story.
Combat blends traditional turn-based strategy with bullet-dodging mechanics reminiscent of the Touhou series and Chrono Trigger. This combination keeps gameplay dynamic and engaging, especially during optional boss battles that are “Jevilishly” difficult for those looking for a true challenge.
One of the best parts about DELTARUNE is that it’s completely browser-based—no downloads required. Whether you're playing at home, during study breaks, or on the go, this title is easy to jump into. Chapters 1 through 4 are available at launch, with additional chapters planned as free updates. That means even more content to enjoy over time.
